Hello. I'm Beth Carroll. Welcome to New Hampshire Outlook. There's one fact that we all live with - we're growing older. For many seniors that means change - for their bodies, minds and social environments. There's a comedy theatre company from the Seacoast that travels the state encouraging people to embrace the aging process. Its known as "Senior Moments" -- amateur thespians who perform at the Seacoast Repertory Theatre in Portsmouth. When "Senior Moments" takes their show on the road "laughter" is not the only response they look for as producer Phil Vaughn discovered in this Seeing Seniors report. |

CONCORD, N.H. - New Hampshire health officials have identified four more birds, a horse and a mosquito pool that tested positive for the Eastern equine encephalitis virus. The birds were found in Hopkinton, Salem, Nottingham and Plaistow. This brings the total number of birds that have tested positive this season to 32. The horse was the sixth to test positive and was from Kingston. Two mosquito pools from Andover also tested positive. Officials also said two birds tested positive for West Nile virus. One was from Bow and the other was the bird from Plaistow that also tested positive for Triple E. Five people have contracted Triple E this year. A 20-year-old Newton woman died from the disease last week. Health officials renewed their call for the public to wear mosquito repellant and to wear long sleeves when outside.
